iSchoolBand March Newsletter

We would like to welcome all of you that are new to iSchoolBand.  We have more than 60 bands using iSchoolBand and we have a goal to reach 150 bands by the end of the year.  We will be launching some great incentives for helping us spread the word if we reach our goal for one lucky school.   We will keep you posted as things progress.   In the mean time be sure to tell your friends and help us get the word out about iSchoolband. 

We are launching a monthly student blog/essay contest in honor of Music In Our School’s Month.  We are giving away an iPod Touch and offering students a chance to have their article featured in front of the music education community.  The top 5 articles will be published on Facebook’s official Band Director page housing more than 5300 directors.  In addition, they will also be published on our blog and in ALL of our school’s news feeds!  Find out more and apply here.

ISchoolBand is now officially social.  If you tweet follow us @iSchoolBand, and if you are on facebook join the public conversation there!  We have created a page for directors, one for parents, and one for students.  Join us there and meet other people who use iSchoolBand!!  We also have set up a page for professional networking on Linkedin, so if you are a band director and you are interested in professional networking with other band directors and music ed professionals join our community there.
