iSchoolMusic.org Communication:
Announcements, Private Messaging, Group Messaging, Comments, A News Feed, Email Notifications.
The iSchoolBand productivity platform has been built on top of a “powerful” social network, that combines all of the web’s communication tools into one easy to manage workspace. Among those features include:
Announcements provide administrators with a twitter like update system and then takes it to the next level with group updates, allowing you to easily specify announcements by individual band, support group, or instrument group.
Another important communication feature is Private Messaging.
Private Messaging works just like email, but keeps the entire dialogue all in one place, sending new messages is as easy as typing in a name. type a few letters and our system will bring up a list of possible recipients.
Type the name of a band or group and you can also send a group message.
Group Messaging works much like a forum in which everyone can discuss topics and learn from one another, notifications keep everyone in the loop.
Comments provide a way for students to ask questions about sheet music, audio files, documents, and communicate with one another by commenting on member profiles and group profiles,
A News Feed that provides a constantly updated feed of all the activity on your network, new uploads, new comments, status updates, and so on, And lastly,
Email Notifications that keep everyone on the same page by emailing you when there is new information, announcements, messages, and so on,
If you have been thinking of using twitter, facebook, or myspace but are afraid of the privacy issues or are overwhelmed with learning all the new technologies. iSchoolband provides the solution. The system is easy and provides a one stop shop to easily disseminate information to their entire band family.
Love,
iSchoolBand
